A supplier file and a Shopify catalog rarely match perfectly. SKU differences, variant mappings and missing records all need decisions. I start with a representative sample and define those decisions with you, so each update has a clear meaning before it reaches your store.

Agree how quantities should be applied, which Shopify locations are involved and how to handle unavailable or missing supplier records.

Include selected price or product fields when needed, with explicit rules about which existing store values may be changed.

A few useful answers.
Can you work with more than one supplier?
Yes. We first define how products match and how to choose or combine supplier quantities. Multiple suppliers and locations add scope and should be reviewed before ordering.
Will updates happen in real time?
The timing depends on the supplier. A periodically generated file cannot provide instant changes. I will propose a schedule or event-based flow after checking the source.
Can I keep control over product descriptions and prices?
Yes. We explicitly agree which fields the integration can update. You can keep other fields under manual control.
What access do you need?
Usually a Shopify custom app with permissions appropriate to the agreed operations, plus access to the supplier source. We will confirm the minimum access needed through Fiverr.
